Introducing Alpha HK’s New Executive Director – Patricia Lau
Dear friends and partners,
It is with great excitement that we introduce our new Executive Director, Ms. Patricia Lau.
Over the past 6 months, we are grateful that Patricia has stepped in as the interim Executive Director of Alpha Hong Kong, whilst continuing her day job. As we step into the new year, we are thrilled that God has called Patricia to give up her day job to join Alpha full-time.
Patricia brings a wealth of business experience to Alpha, having assumed various leadership roles in the finance industry, and most recently, as Managing Director of Credit Suisse Investment Bank. Patricia also has extensive experience with Alpha, having been actively involved both as a board member and a pioneer of the Alpha workplace missions movement. Patricia grew up in Hong Kong and holds a Bachelor and a Masters degree in Engineering from the University of Cambridge, UK.
COVID-19 has triggered an explosion of online Alpha and I believe God is ushering Alpha into a new season of growth. With Patricia’s faithfulness to His mission, we cannot think of a better person to lead Alpha Hong Kong for such a time as this.
I would like to say a special thank you to our previous Executive Director, Jason Young, for his leadership in creating a strong foundation for Alpha.
We look forward to continuing our partnership with you to bring the hope of the gospel to every corner of Hong Kong.
