Key Projects in 2017

Through establishing strategic partnerships with major campus ministries in Hong Kong, we will work closely with campus / school Christian leaders to mobilise campus evangelism through Alpha. In 2017, we will host at least 1 Joint-campus Alpha Retreats for the Campus AlphaAnywhere groups.

Our workplace ministry aims to empower Christians with simple and effective tools to be a missionary the the largest and most strategic mission field in Hong Kong – the marketplace.
After hosting our second SPARK Alpha Workplace Conference in mid-July 2017, we will focus on growing and nurturing several District SPARK teams so that more leaders can get involved at a grass roots level and the SPARK movement can make a deeper and more sustainable impact across Hong Kong.

We believe that healthy and loving family relationships is a key to strong society. Therefore, we hope to see in Hong Kong every marriage & family empowered with the tools & support they need to be healthy and thrive.
In 2017, we are going to organise 5 Marriage & Parenting training events in Hong Kong that will equip 50 facilitators and administrators. Our goal is to see 70 Marriage & Parenting Courses this year that will serve 1,500 people in Hong Kong.

Costs: HK$450,000

Alpha HK formed a partnership with the Community-based Family Life Training and Resource Centre in Zhongshan, Guangdong, where we are able to host trainings and events to equip Marriage & Parenting local instructors from churches and NGOs. These local instructors will be empowered to train church & NGO leaders in Guangdong to serve local communities with the Marriage & Parenting Courses.
As we will host 4 Marriage & Parenting training events in Guangdong in 2017, we expect that at least 70 Courses will take place and served 1,400 participants.

In 2017, we launched the Mandarin-dubbed versions of the Alpha Series and Alpha NextGen Series. They are now available for free download! And we will soon release the Cantonese-dubbed Marriage Course later this year.
Also, we are preparing to produce a brand-new Alpha Team Training Guide.

Costs: HK$300,000

To publish locally relevant multimedia content on social media platforms to encourage non-believers to try Alpha and Christians to run Alpha.

Costs: HK$600,000

We are currently carrying out revamp projects for our website and course registration system. Our goal is to enhance online user experience through effective online content management and website analytics. In addition, we are preparing to provide online live support and online shop service.
